About IBPS Clerk
IBPS Clerk 2018
IBPS Clerk is conducted by the Institute of Banking Personnel Selection to select candidates for the clerical cadre in multiple Government as well as Public Sector banks all over the country. The IBPS Clerk 2018 exam will be conducted on two levels- preliminary exam and mains. No interview process is required for the selection to the post of Clerk. Merit List is made based on the cumulative score of both Preliminary Examination as well as Mains Examination.
IBPS Clerk 2018 Notification
IBPS will release IBPS Clerk 2018 notification for IBPS Clerk CWE VII to fill vacancies in public sector banks. Online Registration for IBPS Clerk 2018-19 will start from September 2018. The official notification link for IBPS Clerk 2018 exam will be updated shortly here.
IBPS Clerk 2018 Exam Dates
The dates for conducting IBPS Clerk 2018 Preliminary Examination is 8th, 9th, 15th and 16th December 2018 while that of Mains Examination is 20th January 2019.
IBPS Clerk Results
The IBPS Clerk 2017 Final result will be declared by IBPS on 1st April 2018. The final merit list will be prepared both state wise and category wise in descending order of the marks obtained by the candidates in their online examination.

IBPS Clerk 2018 Application Fee
The application fees for IBPS Clerk CWE 2018 exam is Rs. 600/- for candidates belonging to General Category. For candidates belonging to SC/ST/PWD category, the application fee is reduced to Rs. 100/-
IBPS Clerk 2018 Vacancy
The number of vacancies have been reduced to 7883 as compared to the vacancy of last year that was around 22,711 as per the recent official notification released by IBPS. This means that the competition is going to increase and with less number of Banks participating in IBPS Clerk 2018 Exam, the selection will be really difficult.
IBPS Clerk Exam Centre 2018
Candidates can choose the centre of their preference while filling in the application form for IBPS Clerk 2018. The centres will be allotted to candidates based on their choice. However in case of non-availability of seats in the selected venue, IBPS can allot a different centre to the candidate.
IBPS Clerk Recruitment
The IBPS Clerk recruitment 2018 has to be done in two different stages: Preliminary and Mains. After clearing both the examinations a merit list is prepared that determines the fate of participating candidates. No interview process is required for selection to the post of Clerk through IBPS Clerk Examination.
IBPS Clerk Exam Pattern 2018
IBPS conducts exams for post of Clerical Cadre in two different stages: Preliminary Exam and Mains Exam. The candidates are required to qualify both the stages to be listed in the merit list prepared after conduction of both the exams.
IBPS Clerk 2018 Preliminary Exam Pattern:
Major changes have been observed in the Exam Pattern of IBPS Clerk 2018 Exam. The total duration and the number of questions asked in Mains Examination of IBPS Clerk 2018 Exam have been revised. In the latest update by IBPS, IBPS Clerk Mains Exam will now constitute of 190 questions that needs to be completed in a time frame of 160 minutes. Previously, Computer Aptitude and Reasoning Ability Section used to be conducted separately. But, in the recent update by IBPS, both these sections are amalgamated together and will constitute of 50 questions that needs to be solved in a time duration of 45 minutes.Both Preliminary Exam and Mains Exam will be conducted bilingually, i.e. both in English and in Hindi. IBPS Clerk Syllabus 2018
The basic subjects that a candidate needs to master are Quantitative Aptitude, Reasoning and English Language. The syllabus for both Preliminary Exam and the Mains Exam are different. A candidate is also required to be proficient in Computer and must have General Awareness knowledge specifically in the field of Banking.

IBPS Clerk Eligibility Criteria
A candidate must be 20-28 years old, must hold a minimum qualification of Bachelor’s from a recognized university and must not hold any criminal record while applying for IBPS Clerk CWE 2018 Exam.
IBPS Clerk Admit Card 2018
Every candidate who registers for IBPS Clerk 2018 within stipulated time will be assigned an e-admit card/hall ticket/call letter that can be downloaded from the official website of IBPS. The admit card for the IBPS Clerk Prelims exam will be released first followed by the admit card of IBPS Clerk Mains exam (administered to only those candidates who qualify for Prelims exam).
