SSC GD 2018

SSC or Staff Selection Commission of India conducts SSC GD every year to recruit eligible candidates to the post of BSF, CISF, ITBP, CRPF, Rifleman etc. SSC GD Notification 2018 will be released shortly by SSC. SSC GD Recruitment 2018 will start with the release of official Notification.

SSC GD or SSC General Duty is one of the most reputed exam conducted by SSC every year. The candidates are selected for the post of Constable in BSF, CRPF, CISF, ITBP, SSF, SSB, NIA and Rifleman. Every year lakhs of students appear for SSC GD Exam in order to fulfill their desire of joining the Government Organization.

SSC GD Recruitment 2018

SSC GD Recruitment 2018 will start with the release of official notification that will be released shortly by SSC. SSC GD Constable Online Application will start post release of official notification..The Online Exam Dates of SSC GD 2018 are from 13th June to 7th July 2018. SSC GD Vacancy

SSC has announced around 57000 vacancies to be filled through SSC GD 2018 Exam. SSC GD Vacancy has been declared for both male and female candidates who will be hired for the post of Constable in BSF, CISF, CRPF, Rifleman etc. through SSC GD 2017 Exam.

SSC GD 2018 Exam Pattern

SSC GD 2018 will be conducted in three phases:

Physical Efficiency Test
Written Exam
Medical Examination

Candidates clearing all these three phases are allotted an appointment letter by Staff Selection Commission of India. Let’s have a look at the detailed SSC GD Exam Pattern 2017:

For Written Examination: This is an online written exam constituting of 4 sections to be completed in a time span of 120 minutes. Around 100 questions will be asked carrying 1 mark each. 1/4th of the total mark of a particular question is deducted if attempted wrong by a candidate.

SSC GD 2017 Application Fee

A candidate must pay an application fee of Rs. 50/- for SSC GD 2017 Exam. Candidates belonging to SC/ST/PWD Category are exempted from paying the application fee.

SSC GD 2017 Eligibility Criteria

Educational Qualification: A Candidate must hold a graduation degree from a recognized university or boardwhile applying for SSC GD Constable (BSF, CRPF, CISF, ITBP, SSF, SSB, NIA and riflemen).

Age Limit: A Candidate is needed to be between 18 to 23 years. Certain Age relaxation is given to candidates belonging to reserved categories as per the government rules and laws.

Females: 157 cm

Proportionate as per the height and medical standard for male and female.

SSC GD Admit Card

Staff Selection Commission of India will release SSC GD Admit Card in the month of January for SSC GD 2017 Exam. Candidates are requested to visit this site regularly in order to remain updated about any upcoming notification regarding the same. SSC GD Result

SSC will release SSC GD Result 2017 after the examination has been conducted for the same. The final selection of candidates will be determined after a candidate clears all the three phases of SSC GD Exam.
