List of Indian National Congress Sessions Pre-Independence

The Indian National Congress was established in 1885 and became one of the most important political parties before the Independence and during the pre-independence of India. The founders of the Indian National Congress were Allan Octavian Hume, Dadabhai Naoroji, and Dinshaw Edulji Wacha. It was the first modern nationalist movement to emerge in the British Empire in Asia and Africa.

The first session of the Indian National Congress was held in 1885in Bombay from 28th Dec to 31st of December. The first president of the National Congress was Mr. Womesh Chandra Bonnerjeein in which 72 delegates participated. Haryana Chief Minister, Manohar Lal Khattar has launched an app-based smart E-Beat system for police attendance and real-time monitoring of patrolling by personnel in Gurugram. CM Khattar launched the system at an event at the office of the Commissioner of Police and flagged off 119 motorcycle police riders connected with it. The app-based system has been introduced in Gurugram under the Smart Policing Initiative (SPI) and will help these policemen mark their attendance and monitor their rides.
