How to change the core Magento API settings?

- Go to Admin menu
- Select System> Configuration
- Choose Magento Core API on the left side of the panel under service.
- Go to General settings and expand it.
- Now enter the details of Default Response Charset
- Enter the Client Session Timeout (in secs)
- Select yes to enable WS-I Compliance and WSDL Cache.
- Click on Save button.
