Electron Affinity can be expressed as : Atom (g) + e¯ (g) → Anion (g) + Electron Affinity Electron Affinity is high for an atom having more tendency to accept an electron. It also depends upon: (1) Nuclear Charge, (2) Size of the atoms, and (3) Electronic Configuration.
