Addition compound is a formed by addition reaction in which one molecule adds to another. This reaction occurs with unsaturated double or triple bond compound. e.g. HCl+CH<sub>2</sub> : CH<sub>2</sub> → CH<sub>3</sub>CH<sub>2</sub>ClCH<sub>3</sub>CH<sub>2</sub>Cl.
