steal someone’s thunder : to get the attention, success etc. that somebody else was expecting ; take credit for something someone else did. Here, take credit for something someone else did is the right option. Look at the sentence : ⇒ l They all worked together on the pocket, but while submitting it, one of them stolen the thunder.
