Suppose B invested Rs. x for y months. Then As investment is Rs. 3x for 2y months. Ratio of investment of A and B = 6xy : xy = 6 : 1. Now Bs share = Rs. 4,000 ∴ As share = Rs. 24, 000 Hence, Total profit = Rs. 28,000
