Time from 1 p.m. on Tuesday to 1 p.m. on Thursday = 48 hours. So, the watch gains (1 + 2) min or 3 min in 48 hrs. Now, 3 min are gained in 48 hrs. So, 1 min is gained in (48/3) = 16 hrs.
