SSC CPO 2018

As per the SSC Calendar 2018-19, the dates for SSC CPO 2018 exam have been released. Staff Selection Commission of India or SSC recruits candidates through SSC CPO exam for the post of:

  • Sub-Inspector in Delhi Police
  • Sub-Inspector in Central Armed Police Forces (CAPFs)
  • Assistant Sub Inspector in CISF
  • posts and Assistant Sub Inspector.

SSC CPO Medical Exam Schedule 2017 Out!

SSC released Medical Exam Schedule for Sub Inspector in Delhi Police, CAPFs and Assistant Sub Inspectors(ASI) in CISF. The Document Verification and Medical Exam is scheduled from 5th April 2018. Candidates are requested to appear for Medical Exam sharp at 7:00 AM on the allotted day at the given venue. Candidates who fail to do so will not be allowed to attend the examination. SSC CPO 2018 Notification

The official recruiment notification for SSC CPO 2018 has been finally released. SSC CPO Recrutiment Notification 2018  includes important details like the number of vacancies, information on the SSC CPO syllabus and exam pattern 2018. SSC has announced 1223 vacancies to be filled through SSC CPO 2018 Exam.

SSC CPO 2018 Exam Dates

Paper-1 of the SSC CPO 2018 will be conducted from 4th June to 10th June 2018. Paper-2 of this exam will be conducted on  1st December 2018. It is necessary for a candidate to clear both these papers to be eligible for the further rounds conducted by SSC. The complete schedule of SSC CPO 2018 is discussed below:

SSC CPO Exam Pattern 2018

Questions asked in both the papers will be of Objective Multiple Choice Type. Questions will be bilingual, i.e. set in both Hindi and English. Deduction of 0.25 marks will be made for each incorrect answer marked by a candidate on his/her OMR Answer Sheet. SSC CPO 2018 Exam will be conducted in three phase:

  • Paper-1 will be conducted first followed by
  • PET, PST and Medical Test.
  • After the declaration of result of these tests, paper-2 of SSC CPO 2018 exam will be conducted.

The final merit list will be deduced based on a candidate’s performance in all the three phases of SSC CPO 2018 Exam.

Paper-2 of this exam will have 200 marks English Comprehensive Test.

Apart from these two papers, a physical test is conducted in order to test the stamina of the candidates.

SSC CPO 2018 Eligibility

There are basic 2 criteria on which a candidate needs to stand tall to be eligible for SSC CPO 2018 Exam.

Educational Qualifications (As on 01.01.2018)

  • You should have Bachelor’s Degree in any discipline from a recognised University.
  • For the post of Sub Inspector in Delhi Police (only) – Male candidates must possess a valid Driving License for LMV (Motor cycle and Car) as on the date fixed for Physical Endurance and Standard Tests. Otherwise, they will not be allowed to undergo Physical Endurance and Standard Tests.

SSC CPO Tier-II 2018 Admit Card

Staff Selection Commission will be rolling out the Admit card and Schedule of Sub Inspector in Delhi Police, CAPFs and ASI in CISF Exam, 2018 soon. Admit Card will be released in sequence, i.e. Admit Card for Paper-1 will be released first followed by Admit card for Paper-II

SSC CPO 2018 Exam is scheduled to be conducted from 4th June to 10th June 2018. SSC CPO 2018 Exam is conducted to select candidates for the post of Sub Inspector (SI) in Delhi Police, Sub Inspector (SI) in CAPF (Central Armed Police Forces) and ASI (Assistant Sub Inspector) in CISF (Central Industrial Security Forces).

SSC CPO Exam Results

SSC will be releasing SSC CPO Result 2018 soon after the exam for each level of SSC CPO 2018 has been conducted. Result for Tier-I will be declared first. Candidates who clear Tier-I will be allowed to appear for Tier-II. The Result for SSC CPO Tier-II Exam will be declared after the exam for the same has been conducted.
