SSC JE 2017-18

SSC JE Exam Dates

As per the SSC Calendar 2018-19, released by SSC recently, dates for SSC JE 2018 exam have been released. Paper I of SSC JE 2018 will be held from 14th November to 20th November. Online application for the same will begin from 1st September to 23rd September 2018.

SSC JE 2017-18 Notification

SSC JE Notification 2017 has been released on 20th October 2017 by SSC. SSC JE Tier-1 Exam 2017 Exam has again been rescheduled. Now it will be conducted from 22-01-2018 to 29-01-2018.

SSC JE Admit Card

Staff Selection Commission of India has finally released SSC JE Admit Card for Tier-I Exam. Candidates can download SSC JE Admit Card by clicking on the link mentioned below. The Admit Card is released Region-Wise for SSC JE Tier-I Exam 2017-18.

SSC JE Application Fee 2017-18

A candidate must pay Rs. 100/- as SSC JE 2017 Online Application Fee. Candidates belonging to Reserved Category (SC/ST/PWD) are exempted from paying Online Application Fee for SSC JE 2017Exam.The examination fee can be paid both online (net banking/debit card/credit card) and offline (e-challan).

SSC JE Exam Pattern

SSC JE 2017 Exam will be conducted by Staff Selection Commission of India in two phases:

Paper 1: It will constituteof 200 marks and is a Multiple Choice Questions based paper. 0.25 marks will be deducted for every question attempted wrong by a candidate.

Paper 2: It will constitute of 300 marks and is a Multiple Choice Questions based paper. 0.25 marks will be deducted for every question attempted wrong by a candidate.

According to the SSC JE Exam Pattern, candidates appearing for the post of JE (civil), JE (quantity surveying & contract) must attempt Part A (civil & structural) of paper I & II.

On the other hand,candidates appearing for JE (electrical) need to attempt Part B (electrical) & the candidates appearing for JE (mechanical) must attempt Part C (mechanical) of Paper I & II.

SSC JE Eligibility Criteria 2017-18

To be eligible for SSC JE 2017 Exam, a candidate must be:

  • A citizen of India
  • Must be under the prescribed Age Limit

Junior Engineer (Civil, Electrical, and Mechanical), Central Water Commission and CPWD  32 years
Junior Engineer (Civil, Electrical & Mechanical), MES  30 years
 Junior Engineer (Civil and Electrical), Department of Post and Junior Engineer (Surveying and contract), MES  27 years

Must have the required Educational Qualification

SSC JE Result

SSC will be releasing SSC JE Result after the different phases of the exam has been conducted. Result of Tier-1 exam will be declared on 26th March 2018. Candidates who clear Tier-1 Exam will be eligible for Tier-2 Exam, and the result for the same will be announced after the exam has been conducted.

SSC JE Cut-Off

The Cut-Off for SSC JE Tier-1 and Tier-2 will be released after the result for the same has been announced by Staff Selection Commission of India.
