IBPS SO 2018 is going to be conducted by the Institute of Banking Personnel Selection to select eligible candidates for various posts like that of Agriculture Field Officer, Marketing Officer (Scale I), HR/Personnel Officer, IT Officer Scale I, Law Officer and Rajbhasha Adhikari Scale I. The notification for the same will be released shortly by IBPS. In the recent notice released by Institute of Banking Personnel Selection Board, the exam dates for IBPS SO 2018 has been released.
IBPS SO Notification 2018 will be released shortly by Institute of Banking Personnel Selection Committee. The IBPS SO 2018 recruitment process will be conducted for selecting candidates for the post of Specialist Officers in different Public Sector Banks for multiple positions after the notification for the same has been released. Selected Candidates through IBPS SO 2018 exam can be posted anywhere in India.

The vacancy for IBPS SO 2018 Exam will be released with the release of IBPS SO Notification. Last year. a total of 1315 vacancies were available for multiple posts offered through IBPS SO 2017 Exam. The vacancy is expected to be more or less same as that of last year. Let`s have a look at the post wise total number of vacancies of previous year to get a fair knowledge of IBPS SO Vacancy 2018.
The dates for commencement of IBPS SO 2018 Preliminary exam is on 29th and 30th December 2018. IBPS SO Mains examination 2018 will be conducted on 27th January 2019.

The recruitment process to select Specialist Officer through IBPS SO 2018 is done in three phases: Online Preliminary Exam, Online Mains Exam and Interview. A candidate must qualify both preliminary exam and mains exam to proceed to the interview round. The candidates selected after the interview round are given the appointment letter.

IBPS SO exam syllabus is no different from any other bank exam. While IBPS issues only the broad subjects, they can be further subdivided into individual topics, based on the questions that have appeared in the exams over the past few years. The IBPS SO syllabus is divided into two parts:
IBPS SO Preliminary Exam Syllabus: This has main section of Reasoning, Quantitative Aptitude and English Language and Generala Awareness..
IBPS SO Mains Exam Syllabus: Asks questions just from the specialised course that a candidate is proficient in.
It is important to note that the Specialised Section will be different for candidates applying for different posts through SBI SO 2018 exam

A candidate is required to pay Rs. 600/- (General and OBC) as their application fee for IBPS SO 2018 exam. The same amount is narrowed down to Rs. 100/- for candidates belonging to SC/ST/PWD category.

The results for IBPS SO 2018 Exam will be released after the completion of each phase of the exam. The main thing to notice here is that a cumulative score of the mains exam and the interview is considered to prepare the final merit list of selected students. The merit list is prepared in the descending order of the marks obtained by candidates. Candidates who make it to the merit list will be given the appointment letter by the Bank of Candidate`s choice.
