State Bank of India recruits candidates to fill in the vacancies of a Specialist Officer through SBI SO Exam. The Specialist Officer in SBI is recruited both on a regular and contract basis. Interested candidates can fill in the online application form for SBI SO Exam. The posts offered through SBI SO Exam are that of a Chief Manager, Digital System Architect, Analyst, UI/UX Designer, Deputy Manager etc.
SBI released SBI SO 2018 Notification on 16th January 2018 to select eligible candidates to the post of Specialist Officer in various branches of SBI all over the country. The Online Application process started from 16th January 2018 and ended on 4th February 2018.
State Bank of India has finally issued SBI SO Admit Card 2018 on 14th February 2018. The link to download Admit Card has been provided below. The Admit Card has been issued to candidates who have successfully submitted the Online Application for SBI SO 2018 Exam.

The online application of SBI SO 2018 Exam will start from 16th January 2018. The last date for receiving payment for application of this exam is 4th February 2018 2018. Earlier, SBI released notification for SBI SO 2018 for the post of Deputy Manager (Internal Audit), the exam for which will be conducted tentatively on 25th February 2018.

A candidate is required to pay Rs. 600/- (General and OBC) as their application fee for SBI SO 2018 exam. The same amount is narrowed down to Rs. 100/- for candidates belonging to SC/ST/PWD category.

Candidates are selected through an interview process for different posts filled through SBI SO 2017. To be eligible for Interview Process a candidate must qualify a written test taht constitute of 2 papers. Paper 1 will carry 3 sections to be completed in 90 minutes and Paper 2 will have Questions fro Professional Knowledge Subjects. The qualifying marks will be decided by State Bank of India.

The eligibility criteria are different for different positions that are filled through SBI SO 2017 exam. For Deputy Manager (Internal Audit)The gross salary of Chief Manager selected through SBI SO 2018 Exam including HRA, PF, DA, CCA etc. amounts to 31705-1145/1-32850-1310/10-45950
For Contractual positionsThe compensation package (CTC) for candidates selected for contractual positions is variable and is to be decided by the Bank. The pay scale won’t be a limiting factor for a suitable candidate.
State Bank of India will release SBI SO Result 2018 once the examination for the same has been conducted. SBI will release SBI SO Result separately for Written Exam and for the final merit list. The allotment will be done based on the scores of candidate in GD-PI Round.
As the selection procedure is through Written Exam and Interview Process, a candidate is required to brush up his/her basic concepts. Candidates can refer to online books available for the preparation of SBI SO 2018 exam.
